Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Welcome to Bottleneck Calculators (“BottleneckCalc”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using bottleneckcalculators.org and its calculators (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
BottleneckCalc provides free, browser-based calculators for process and operations metrics, including throughput and Little’s Law, a bottleneck finder, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE). The calculators run entirely in your browser; the figures you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
2. No professional advice
The calculators and any accompanying explanations are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional engineering, financial, safety or operational advice, and results depend entirely on the inputs you supply. You are responsible for validating any figure before relying on it for a real decision. We make no warranty that a result is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it for resale, scrape it at a rate that degrades availability, or use it in violation of any applicable law. The free calculators are intended for individual interactive use; programmatic embedding and white-labelling require a paid plan.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, formulas as presented, and code, is owned by BottleneckCalc and protected by applicable law. The underlying mathematical relationships (Little’s Law, OEE, PCE) are public knowledge and are not claimed by us. You may share links to the Service freely.
5. Paid plans
Optional paid plans add conveniences such as saving scenarios, removing advertising, exporting, and embedding the calculators on your own site. Paid features, pricing and availability may change; where they do, we will give reasonable notice for active subscriptions.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BottleneckCalc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of a calculated result. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
